Queer, trans, poly therapist and clinical supervisor in DC

About Me

I’m Mix. I have completed my Masters degree in social work (MSW) and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I specialize in working with queer, trans, neurodivergent, and disabled/chronically ill folks.

I am non-binary, queer, neurodivergent, and polyamorous. My pronouns are they/them. Exploring identity has been a life-long journey for me, and it is my passion to help those who may also be on a similar journey.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic and based on you and your goals. I practice abolitionist therapy and do no rely only on standard therapy practice and models. I try to de-center white, colonist approaches to therapy and create an environment and practices that are better suited for the population I work with. I will work with you as a teammate to identify the things that could be holding you back from the life you want to be living. Being neurodivgent in a neurotypical, capitalist, white supremacist society can create wounds that impact every part of our lives. Together we will identify which direction you want to go and how to get there. I pull from many modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work- but am also happy to include non-traditional tools in our work.

I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment for you to fully express yourself. When one feels fully accepted, they are able to tap into and explore deeper parts and are better able to understand themselves.

I am sex positive, kink-aware, and poly. I am also happy to write letters for gender affirming surgeries and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) as well as letters needed in the fertility process.

I’m looking forward to meeting and working with you!
